Nursery story telling

This week, nursery children dived into the story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt! Through hands-on activities, they brought the tale to life in creative and interactive ways. Using our “shape of the week,” little ones crafted bear faces, developing both fine motor skills and shape recognition. They also practised counting skills with 1:1 correspondence, counting items related to the story to deepen their understanding of numbers. Each child created their own unique bear collage, letting them express their imagination and connect more closely with the story’s characters. It was a week filled with storytelling, creativity, and learning through play!
