Children from KS2 were paired up with children from Nursery, Reception and KS1. The children sat down in pairs and read a book together. Prior to the session, KS2 children planned and prepared the book by reading it and also planning questions and activities to carry out. It was lovely to see the older children become role models to the younger children, modelling reading effectively, engaging them with their questions/activities and developing their own confidence.
