Learning in Reception

This week we have been learning about people who help us, and we had Martha's dad come in to teach the children about his job and how he helps people. He taught the children what it meant to be a doctor and even showed them the equipment he used and allowed the children to try them. The children loved it and had loads of questions for him!

We have also been doing gymnastics in the hall. The children loved learning some new movements and having a chance to practice them. They have been learning about different balances and different roles. They have also been working in partners to support each other and encourage each other. It has been lovely to see.
