Happy New Year from the Rainbow Room!

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday! Rainbow Room has started 2025 with our best foot forward, and we are excited to share what we will be learning.

This half-term, we are thrilled to introduce our new core book, "The Three Little Pigs." Over the next six weeks, we will immerse children in this classic tale, exploring its themes, characters, and lessons through a variety of activities. In addition to exploring the story, we will be exploring different textures and materials linked to the narrative, allowing the children to engage in hands-on learning experiences that tie directly to the pigs' houses made of straw, sticks, and bricks.

In addition to our literary adventures, Rainbow Class will have two main trips this half-term, both of which we are very excited about! We will be visiting Flip Out for some fun and active play, as well as taking a trip to our local fire station to learn about fire safety and the important work firefighters do in our community. We encourage parents to look out for messages on Study Bugs with further information regarding these events.

As always, we emphasise the importance of fostering independence in our children. We encourage you to support your child’s journey in becoming more self-sufficient, and to keep an eye on Study Bugs for updates and communications.
