End of Spring Newsletter 04.04.25

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come to the end of another busy and exciting term, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. It has been a fantastic term filled with learning, creativity, and wonderful experiences for our children.

Spring Term Highlights

📚 World Book Day – The children had a fantastic time dressing up as their favourite book characters. A special highlight was seeing our older pupils reading to the younger children, fostering a love for reading across all year groups.

🔬 Science Week – Our budding scientists had the opportunity to conduct experiments and showcase their investigative skills. A huge thank you to Ms. Malik for organising such an engaging week and to all the parents who participated and supported the activities.

🎭 Year 4 Performance – Our Year 4 pupils put on a fantastic production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. A special thank you to Kristel Panova (Chair of PTA) for her creativity and effort in making some of the props, which added a magical touch to the performance.

🏃‍♂ Mini Marathon & Dance Performance – We are incredibly proud of the children who will be participating in the Mini Marathon on Saturday, 26th April. Additionally, some of our children will be showcasing their dance routines on stage in front of thousands of people on the same day – a truly exciting opportunity!

Looking Ahead

🌞 Summer Term Start – School reopens on Tuesday 22nd April. Please ensure children arrive on time, ready for another exciting term of learning.

📢 Upcoming Events – We have lots to look forward to next term, including Sports Day, the Summer Fair, and School Trips and year 4 and 6 residential. Further details will be shared after the break.

📖 Reading Challenge – We encourage all children to keep reading over the holidays. Visiting the local library or reading together at home is a great way to maintain their enthusiasm for books.

Finally, a huge thank you to our staff, parents, and carers for your continued support and dedication. We wish you all a wonderful and restful Easter break and look forward to welcoming the children back for an exciting summer term ahead!

Best wishes,

M Omole
