Kensington vs Curwen Poetry Battle
Kensington battled Curwen Primary School in a poetry competition
On Monday 6th February, Kensington Primary School took part in a poetry competition against Curwen Primary School. Children from both schools were selected and went through several rounds to get to the final. 12 children from each school were selected due to their creativity and enthusiasm for poetry. The children showcased determination, confidence and wrote/performed thoughtful poems about the environment whilst going head-to-head with Curwen pupils. After rigorous judging from both the audience and a panel on: performance techniques, language, structure and form, tone of voice; Kensington pupils triumphed and won the competition! Well done Kensington!
