Learning in Year 6

This week Y6M have continued to explore vascular and non vascular plants. The children worked alongside their peers  and were hands-on with exploring various plants such as Ivy, pine tree leaves, holly, fern and many more. Y6M have also completed reading the thought-provoking book 'Rose Blanch'. Giving them further insight into the sad realities of WW2 and providing them with a further understanding of what life was like during WW2 in Germany, especially through the eyes of a German child. This book allowed children to make great inferences (by exploring the illustration) and use their prior knowledge of facts about the war.
