School Council
Our school council is made up of 15 children. They were voted for by their class and there is one from every class in Year 2 to Year 6. They have a very important role in the school and are vital to communication throughout the school.
They meet every Monday lunchtime to talk about how to improve the school so that it's a safe and happy place for everyone. Every Tuesday they have an assembly with their class to find out any things they want to change about the school, or to find out any problems that the children might have. Recently they've spoken with their classes about the UN Convention of Rights and UK Parliament Week. As you can see, the School Council members have to be excellent communicators!
Sometimes we have visitors to our school and the School Council, as well as the Kensington leaders, work together to show them around the school and help them during their visit. You may even have met some of them on Parents' Evening.
Some of the School Council members are also part of the wider TTLT Pupil Parliament, and they chose to raise money for London’s Air Ambulance Charity as their big project for the year. Expect to see and hear about fun activities that happen as the school to raise money for this charity.
Here are some of the hard-working School Council members.
