Multilingual Storytime 4th December 2024

Families and staff all come together to read story books in their first languages. Multilingual Storytime was a real success. Parents, teachers and children all had a chance to explore the wide range of multilingual story books that have been collected in our Multilingual Library.

Since starting the library, we have around 200 books! Many have been purchased using the Multilingual Café funds from Newham Council, but we have received many wonderful and very loved books donated by children, parents, staff and visitors.

Children took part in a competition to guess how many languages Mr Raza speaks, and also heard him read a story in his home language - Urdu. Every term we will be running a Multilingual Storytime, and will have different staff members showcasing their language in a storytelling session. Make sure you join in to read and listen to stories from around the world!
