This week, Y4B has had a fantastic start to Spring 2 and has returned to school feeling refreshed and ready to learn. We have been working hard to improve our division skills in maths by employing various strategies, such as grouping, using short division methods, and applying our known number facts. Ms. Brooker and Ms. Patel was very impressed with the children's determination and resilience as they challenged themselves by applying their learning to word problems.

We have also begun rehearsals for our upcoming performance of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, " which aligns with our English lessons. In English, children have used inference to gain a deeper understanding of the characters in the story and have applied that knowledge to their performance. Additionally, we have focused on singing and performing in our Communication lessons this week. Please encourage your children to learn their lines for the performance as well as the songs and dances – you can even join in!
