Visit to Tate Britain

Year 4’s Inspiring Visit to Tate Britain!
On Wednesday, 26th March, Year 4 pupils enjoyed an exciting visit to Tate Britain to explore
Romanticist and Realist paintings. They saw masterpieces by artists like J.M.W. Turner and
John Constable, learning about dramatic landscapes and true-to-life depictions.
A tour of the gallery and our prior learning about Romanticism and Realism allowed students to engage with art, sparking creativity and discussion. The visit brought their classroom learning to life and inspired their own artistic expressions.
A big thank you to the staff and volunteers who made this trip possible. Well done to Year 4 for their enthusiasm and curiosity!
