Learning in Year 3

Year 3 Explore the Importance of Exercise and Healthy Eating!

This term, Year 3 have been learning all about the importance of staying active and eating a balanced diet. Through exciting discussions and activities, they discovered how exercise helps keep our bodies strong and minds focused, while nutritious food gives us the energy we need to thrive.

To put their learning into action, the children had the opportunity to design and create their very own healthy wraps! Using a variety of fresh ingredients, they carefully selected combinations of crunchy vegetables, lean proteins, and tasty spreads to make their wraps both delicious and nutritious. From cool cucumbers to juicy shredded carrots, every wrap was bursting with goodness!

The best part? Tasting their creations! The children thoroughly enjoyed eating their homemade wraps, proving that healthy food can be just as tasty as it is good for you. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that reinforced the importance of making healthy choices every day.

Well done, Year 3! Keep up the great work in staying active and eating well.
