We are delighted that Kensington Primary School continues to be recognised by OFSTED as an OUTSTANDING school following our inspection in December 2021. The inspectors said that, ‘At Kensington Primary School, leaders and staff create a secure environment in which pupils learn well and are very well prepared for the future.’
This is the result of an incredible amount of hard work and commitment from everyone involved. Our vision of, 'a place everyone loves to be' has driven this and the inspectors recognised that clarity of thought, 'Leaders have a strong vision for the school...'
They could see how our development of Curriculum K benefits all children at Kensington, 'Staff have high aspirations of pupils.' As well as the impact of our approaches to behaviour, 'Pupils are taught to be independent in managing their behaviour and learn to regulate their emotions' and, 'Pupils said that bullying does not happen in their school.'
We are rightly proud of our school and it is fantastic to have the validation of this report, particularly during such a challenging time. We have taken risks and innovated in order to ensure the best possible start in life for our children. We are excited to continue on this path and to look for further ways to develop and improve.
